MRTA is initiated and organised by the Myanmar Responsible Tourism Institute (MRTI). The Awards are presented each year in front of an audience of key influences, tourism industry stakeholders and decision makers.
MRTA identifies and celebrates best responsible tourism practices throughout Myanmar. The aim is to inspire the tourism industry by what is possible to achieve with responsible actions, recognise businesses and individuals that demonstrate best practices and encourage competition to make sustainable and inclusive tourism the standard in Myanmar.
